Schilthorn Mürren

Heute fuhren wir früh morgens nach Interlaken um Louise, Jerica und Jamie, drei Freunde aus Kalifornien zu treffen.
Von Lauterbrunnen gings via Mürren aufs Schilthorn wo wir das wunderschöne Bergpanorama bei einem Aperitif im im Drehrestaurant genossen.
Wieder zurück in Mürren wanderten wir via die Chännelegg und den Oberberg zur Grüschalp …

Highlights:

Our longest travel day yet (7am - 4pm) whisked us out of Italy and onto the cliff-side town of Murren in the Swiss Alps. This morning I awoke to bright sunny alps and surrounded by the Alps with plans to visit a small village Gimmelwald, as recommended by Rick Steves. Had an ok breakfast at our Hotel. Meats, cheeses, muesli in heavy cream, orange juice, good coffee, croissants. I tell Grant, "Be thankful you're not in Germany. It's the same just take away the muesli and the croissants."
