Whilst quite small, the visitors centre was undergoing renovations when we were there and I expect will be bigger and better these days. There's a short movie that plays at regular intervals all day and is very informative. This followed by a look around the museum is a great way to spend an afternoon. The cafe was quite nice too. I recommend the scones, with jam and cream. There is also a nice little gift shop to peruse when you're done. Well worth the visit.
