Absolutely gorgeous beach, made even more special by the crazy purple sand there. Some awesome rock formations too. It's best enjoyed when there's no one there, we managed to arrive about 8:30am n had the place to ourselves for a good hour and even then we only had to share it with a handful of other people.
It's a little hard to find if you don't know where to spot the turning off PCH but the drive down is almost as picturesque as the beach itself, as you wind your way gently downhill through meadows with the odd horse and abandoned car, toward the beach.
Bring a few bucks for the car park
