  • Pecos A Must See

    We only came here because we'd neven been and wanted to do something new in a short afternoon. The Pecos National Park is so amazing. There is a walk, maybe 1 mile up to and around the ruins. The walk is paved so it isn't hard unless one has trouble walking up the hill. The walk goes close to the ruins of the Pueblo and you can walk into the ruins of the mission.
    Some restoration has taken place but much has not been unearthed.
    This is a wonderful gem of our Historic Parks.
    We have a National Parks pass so we used it for our admission.

  • The Indians Lose Again

    An interesting site where you can see ruins of the original Pecos Pueblo alongside the ruins of the Catholic church that was built as part of an effort to convert all the Indians.

  • Historic Place, Beautiful Setting

    We need places like this to keep us focused on the fact that there was LOTS of human activity and history on this continent before the U.S. was even thought of. Not only is this site an educational experience, anyone would enjoy themselves walking the pathway that takes you by the various ruins.
