The quicksand guy is not worth it as its not the real thing. It's rather that the artist was inspired by quicksand deaths.
However there is one area that is particularly good, right near the exit. Artefacts and art. A painting of Mont St Michel made out of postage stamps, a giant leather boot for horse riding, weapons and trinkets from pilgrimages.
I personally didn't enjoy the wax figures exhibit, it was a little scary. So I suppose it was done well and lifelike.
