Heading towards the end of a very long day with the ICS assessment squad a few of us girls has a couple of hours to wait until our trains home.
Non of us ever having been to York before wanted to make the most of out 2-5hour long jurneys so wanted to head towards the River Ouse (Yes, pronounced like the purple gunk in the Power Rangers film).
Following the curve of this not so grey, rushed and irrate City we naturaly arrived at the Museum Garden. Filled with ruined chruches, a hall with black wooden panes and loads of really fat ducks.
Following this park around we got to the white bridge and the River Ouse, stunningly kept (unless you progess past the rail bridge and it all become quite average!) and home to York Rowing Club. Which we where lucky enough to catch the mens mid outting!
Over all, very nice!
