I visited about 10am on a Sunday and there were hardly any visitors so it was peaceful. It was a beautiful sunny day, and there were beautiful red and pale pink geraniums everywhere. I was given a guide leaflet with a map and I used my LP info too. The monastery was well kept and there were fresh flowers in some of the more shriney rooms. Entrance was 35 soles which is quite a lot, but I think it was worth it. There is (limited) info in English around in many of the rooms, but much more in Spanish.Would recom, end.
