The seas were very rough. If the weather had been nice, this would have been great. The skipper and navigator, who was a bit of a low-talker), along with the first mate, were very knowledgable about the wildlife and went out of their way to spot the birds and steer towards them. It was exciting to see an albatross fly right by the boat.
The wind/rain jackets were great and kept us dry and warm. The binoculars provided, however, could have been better.
