    ZooMAT is an example of how ZOOs should be made. It has plenty of space for most animals (could still get better in some), while maintaining a good visitor experience (animals are easy to see). It is devoted to local species and to conservation (a lot of endemic species present).

    It is build on the mountainside outside Tuxtla and respecting local environment, so it is also a very walk (yet confortable with ramps and pathways) walkabout the forest, it is quite a workout.
