The Dolphin Odyssey encounter at the Miami Seaquarium has it's ups and it's downs. The encounter portion was fun, you got to learn about the dolphins, there were plenty of photo opportunities (the staff takes photos for you and you can purchase them after your encounter if you'd like), and my favorite part, the dolphin will swim across the pool with you holding on to it's dorsal fin. The trainers were very friendly and informative. This would be the negative part to my review, included with your paid admission to the encounter program is a wet suit rental, and a towel to use while there. Upon arrival, you are brought to a window where they'll supply you with a wetsuit. They don't ask you which size you'd need or any specifics that would inform them on which size to give you. They throw you a towel and wetsuit and point you in the direction of the changing facilities. The wetsuit, smelled as though it hadn't been washed since it's previous session, and the smell of lingering fish filled the air, once you actually got into the water it wasn't an issue. Over all the encounter itself was fun, but I question if they even sanitize their rental items once it is returned to the window.
