This is a very clean, organized, and well run museum that details the history of the gold rush using displays of various aspects of the lives of pioneers as well as dioramas of the local Indians and the Chinese population. The docents were extremely nice and very helpful. The lovely lady there even switched on a replica of a 10-stamp stamp press and explained to my boys the extraction process. We really enjoyed our time here and learned a lot.
