    I have spent countless happy hours in gardens from China to Chile, and the Selby botanical garden is one of my favorites. Pack a lunch or get a snack from their cafe and spend the day in awe at over 6000 different orchids, banyan trees, mangrove walkway, hibiscus garden, and so much more! Wonderfully laid out walkways and meandering paths make it intimate and inviting even if there are other people around. Not to be missed and only a few blocks from downtown Sarasota!
