Today we made our way from Apollo Bay to Halls Gap, but not before returning to Apollo Bay. Yes that is right we decided to go off the beaten track to find this waterfall that looked cool and ended up right back at Apollo Bay? Go Figure!

Day two of the Great Ocean Road Chillax Tour begins early.


We are squeezing ourselves into wetsuits for a surfing lesson beginning at 7.30am at Apollo Bay beach. It's an amazing beach, morning and fun filled two hours fighting with the waves. I find the experience something to behold - I mange to stand (just!) but give up …

We decided to do The Great Ocean Road on our own instead of going on a tour which I think was the better choice as we could go wherever we wanted and could stop whenever we wanted. So we hired a car from Budget a horrible Nissan Tiida ha and booked a motel for Warrnambool which is at the other end of The Great Ocean road.

Today we woke up at around 8 AM in Apollo Bay. We checked out of our hotel, and left towards Halls Gap. There were tons of things to see along the way, like the Twelve Apostiles, Cape Otway Lighthouse and more.
