    We were lucky enough to be on a not-very-crowded cruising of the Maid of the Mist, and the experience was one we loved sharing with our 10-year-old grandson. It was a much better one for us than our last time, when an entire school of screaming 5th and 6th graders shattered our ear drums and kept us from getting anywhere near the railings for a view! Definitely a not-to-be-missed experience. Most affordable way is to buy the Adventure Pass, which includes the Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara's Fury, and the White Water Walk. We didn't do the latter, but the first 3 are definitely worth the price of admission - btw, YOU WILL GET WET!! : )
