This was our (wife and grandson (6)) first visit to Florida and we wanted to see Disneyworld before our cruise. We thought the Magic Kingdom would be a good place to start and we weren't dissappointed. It is amazing how smoothly they are able to transport thousands of people in and out of the place. The price seemed a bit high, but we were not getting a deal for multiple days and when you consider it included all the rides, it was a good (not a great) deal.
From the moment we entered, the happy sounds of Disney were always there, although we never found the music to be loud or intrusive. The staff were always friendly, happy, and seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves.
There were 3 parades that we saw, and they were GREAT, to say the least.
The FAST PASS feature was a great concept, which we used a number of times. (Universal Studios charges for a similar feature, which turned us off).
The food inside was good, although it is a good idea to bring some snacks or something in a backpack if you have kids.
There were always washrooms nearby and they were clean.
You can rent buggies to push little kids in. They are a tad expensive (30 bucks for 1/2 day), but well worth it. We ended up having to go back to the entrance to rent one about 3/4 way thru our day, as the grandson was getting tired and cranky (30 bucks was worth it at that stage, lol)
There was far too much to see in one or 3 days, so we will definitely be back to enjoy it more so. We were lucky it wasn't too crowded when we went, which was the middle of a school week in early Feb. This worked out great for smaller crowds and cooler temperatures.
Ooooh, DO NOT MISS the fireworks, which were really magical and an awesome way to end our visit there. Definitely a special place!
