    Hot Water Beach & Rotorua

    Today we went down to Hot Water Beach at Lake Tarawera. We were told to go between thee 2 rocks and so took a spade and waited for the tide to go out.Hundreds of people suddenly turned up and we started digging in to the sand. The water was boiling coming from the hot spring underground! So hot it felt like a kettle had fallen on your feet!
