We took the "evening star-gazing experience", $45 each for about 3 1/2 hour program. The Observatory complex is huge - I think 23 telescopes of all descriptions. The two students who conducted the tour were obviously very knowledgeable about astronomy, but it seemed they tried to stretch 1 hour of "real" content to fill up the 3 1/2 hour session. If you go, especially in winter, wear plenty of clothes - it was definitely cool!! The telescope session was interesting - we had a few clouds, but they cleared out in time to check out the nebulae and planets. Seemed a bit elementary for 23 adults. Worth the trip up there just for the view, however.
