  • Observation Deck's worth the price of admission!

    Most of this attraction is a little less than impressive, walking through long narrow tunnels to look out through little windows with bars on them as the falls pour down in front, creating a solid curtain of little visibility. However, the last stop - off to the right before the elevators take you back up to street level, is worth the price of admission. This observation deck practically butts up against the edge of the Horseshoe Falls, with the deafening roar making for a great video opp. Looking down on the Maid of the Mist, which seemed so close to the Falls when we were on it, we realized how much closer we were now - thankful for the provided rain ponchos, once again! Most affordable way is to buy the Adventure Pass, which includes the Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara's Fury, and the White Water Walk. We didn't do the latter, but the first 3 are definitely worth the price of admission -( btw, YOU WILL GET WET!! : )

  • A Different Perspective

    There is there a different view of the cascade, and a sense of the power of nature is present.
    The facility looks as though it was built in the stone age - it's well beyond the time to be updated.

    It was a really humbling experience to take the trip behind the falls and to feel and hear the power of the water. It did get a bit crowded in some of the spots along the way, people with strollers etc. A little patience will go a long way, especially during tourist season.
