John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum & Library Boston

Just wanted to give an update for our first three days... We left Friday on a red-eye to Boston and got there at 8am, Saturday. We went to breakfast, then checked in and walked the Freedom Trail. Apparently the 'tall ships' were in town, which is the first time they´ve been to Boston since 1976... So, we toured all the historical sites (Paul Revere …

So an early start as we had a 7am Flight from Raleigh to Boston, so Hotel shuttle at 5:30am.

We arrived in Boston around 9am, and headed for the Hotel to our surprise they let us check in - which was great, so after a couple of hours we headed out.

First stop was to find the Cheers location, then we moved on to the JFK Museum, …

We made it home safely yesterday afternoon. The last two days of vacation were so busy and went by so quickly I never had a chance to write anything. I will take a couple minutes and try to recap the past couple of days and even the past couple of weeks in this final blog.

We stayed at the Omni Parker House Hotel, the oldest hotel in the US and on the Freedom Trail. The Omni Parker is also famous as JFK made his first public speech and proposed to the future Jackie Kennedy there, and Malcolm X used to work in the restaurant.
