Jimbaran Bay

Simply I am ashamed, being an Indonesian for over 20 years (at the time), I have never set foot in Bali. When I started working and earning my own fresh rupiahs (which was not a lot I tell you), I decided that somehow I had to go there.

And I did, worth every penny. I am not a glamorous traveller and yet I'm not a world-class backpacker …

We arrived at Bali airport and took a taxi straight to the hotel where we still had a two hr wait till we could go into the room and outside was already roasting. We reached Denpasar Ngurah Rai airport Bali from Seoul at 12:15 am on 15th Oct. Just outside the gate we got our 30 day visitor Visa-on-arrival for $25 each and quickly got done with customs etc.
