This distinctive quaint bridge, with its pink columns framing the entrances and decorative roof, is an iconic Hoi An landmark and worth a quick walkover. In one entrance a pair of monkeys stand guard and on the other side a pair of dogs.
You don't need to pay to go across the bridge but you do to visit the small temple inside which really isn't worth it as you can see it from outside when you walk over the bridge for free. When you buy your ticket to enter the Old Town, it's only a small amount and all the money goes into the ongoing restoration of the town, you also receive entrance into five of the 21 places of interest to visit. We used one of these tickets to enter the temple, but wouldn't recommend, save it for another one of the sites.
