This is another great place to visit in Edinburgh, especially if you're a fan of all things Royal.
Our guide gave us the best tour, complete with gorey stories. There's no photography allowed inside so pack your camera away once you're inside the walls of the palace.
There are really helpful and knowledgable guides in each room, and they're more than willing to help you with your questions or to fill in the historic blanks.
The art work is great, the tapestries even better and the furniture is beautiful, as is the plaster work and light fittings.
Outside the palace, you're fee to stroll through the grounds and take photos of the Abbey ruins and Queen Mary's Bathhouse.
We really enjoyed this attraction and would definately go back again.
