  • Walking with the stars

    First little advice, if you want to take a good look at the stars, go in the morning because it's not pleasant at all in the afternoon. I can tell I did both.
    The chinese theater is one of the things to see and a little further from there you can take a glance at the famous Hollywood sign on the hill.

    I wouldn't bother doing it again. The Wax Museum was cool and the hand prints in front of the Chinese theatre were interesting. The walk of fame was the highlight for me however Hollywood seemed a bit worn out and run down though it probably looks better with red carpet on it.

    The Walk of fame, is dirty and grimey, it is pavement that people walk over after all. It is somewhat of a metaphor for the industry itself really, you think it is going to be all glamourous and it turns out to be a piece of cement.

    It's a bunch of stars on the ground with names on them. When I first saw it, I was all, like 'ooooo!', but the I realized that it's not like I met the person or somehow benefited from the star. It was a sense of recognition masquerading as interest. There's really not much of a difference between reading the stars and reading the name from a list, except one involves a lot more walking around inhaling traffic fumes..
