The best part of this complex is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. I suspect it was built for show, but it's simplicity is beautiful. Designed in the style of tribes living in the jungle, the lower floor was used for meetings while sleeping and study rooms are on the second floor. The teak wood and hardware are fantastic. It would be great to copy for a treehouse Lake retreat.
Similar to our experience in China, the grounds are kept pretty clean. With a few exceptions, everything is pretty tired.
Ho Chi Minh's body is on display for those who want a look. We passed.
