The Groeninge Museum, located near the street of the same name, is an art museum that houses a collection of Flemish Primitives paintings, including some by Jan van Eyck and others from that era. This museum also houses art from other eras as well, going up to the 20th century, mainly focusing on works by Belgian artists.
The entrance is not easy to find, being hidden from the main streets. There are some signs, but they don't lead directly to the entrance, and often, a good map is needed to find the place.
A nice art museum, that is well worth visiting. The art is just really nice to look at, and very organized, which is done by time period.
Bags have to be put in lockers, and photography is not allowed.
