Grauman's Chinese Theatre is such a great place to visit as it is one of the most historical buildings in Hollywood. You won't be disappointed that you can take photos with the all of the stars' handprints and footprints (knuckles for John Wayne's piece) all for free! It is always crowded, of course, so if you're the type of person that can't take the crowds go there early in the morning when no one is around (6am or 7am). In addition, you can take a 30 minute tour of the theatre for roughly $12-15 per person. Now the next question is, is it worth it? I would say skip the tour and spend your money elsewhere. I adore this theatre as a film fanatic but the tour is so short and there isn't much to learn. It is nice to get that background knowledge of the theatre but to be truthful, I probably could have just googled it online. There are only about 10-15 facts the tour guide will share with you as you walk around the theatre. You literally just walk through the lobby and the screening room and that's it. Like I said, this is money that can be saved.
