Our guide told us how fortunate we were to visit the golden temple during a sunny day. It was beautiful and crowded with Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, Filipino and even a few Haole people all jammed in to the paths. This was not the busy season, so I can just imagine how crazy things can get when it is busy! We got to take some breathtaking photos and enjoyed some peace to ourselves for short periods of time. Unfortunately, the paths were gravel and my dad couldn't use the wheelchair so he had to walk quite a distance. He said that his foot was swollen after this day because he wasn't used to so much walking.
