Hypnotising, Paradisiacal Winter Wonderland!
36 photosToday was the most amazing day of our trip so far and possibly ever! The Perito Moreno Glacier , Patagonia, perhaps an unbeatable landscape with the most breathtaking scenery. We were in absolute awe at this jaw-dropping 60metre tall & 250km2 gigantic glacier. We were so lucky to have a beautiful sunny cloudless sky and at the same time see the …

That's a big chunk of Ice!!
18 photosToday we travelled to Perito Moreno. This massive Glacier is also part of Los Glaciares National Park, same as El Chalten . It takes a 2 hour bus trip from El Calafate, to reach this area of the park. We've all seen the photos but nothing can match the actual viewing of this massive wall of Ice. Day 89 – 20 stories of blue ice
38 photosThis morning we woke up after a short, but amazing (but short) sleep in our new hostel. We wished we could have spent more nights in a place like this, but we've been stuck on the price tag of scaling up. It was a full $12 more per night than our place at Kaweshkar, but it wasn’t until this morning that the extra price seemed justified. Our …

Ice Ice Baby
24 photosWhy are these seemingly mild mannered Taiwanese businessmen smiling?
Perhaps they just sold us a lifetime supply of dye, perhaps it was the whiskey toast we just had or perhaps they just hiked Perito Moreno Glacier. We met Hsu and his colleagues while taking a hike on the iconic glacier. They were …
