Gellert Baths Budapest

Started out a better day just by the fact that we all slept better, wow does that ever make a huge difference. We enjoyed our bread, chocolate and yoghurt breakfast (I skipped the hot peppers, meat and cheese that seem to accompany most meals) and off we went.

Before coming to Budapest I thought it would be all castle, churches, cathedrals, lovely bridges, Danube river and Christmas markets......and it is, and that is why I wanted to visit Budapest....but what I did not expect was that I would be so totally taken with the thermal baths of the city. It has been the highlight of my time in Hungary.
