    February is probably not the best time to visit the gardens but even in it's hibernating state it was stunning. I can't begin to imagine what it looks like in bloom. The trails were easy to walk but they provided golf carts for those who may not be up to the distance. I loved being met by peacocks when we started the self guided tour and ending it with the pavilion, chapel and carrillion. The architecture is really beautiful.

    Gardens, Tower and a Scenic Byway

    I started the morning with a mineral shower. I have to say the bathroom at the Arlington was pretty great. The soap and shampoo was awesome and the water that comes out of the shower is mineral water. Love! There was no complimentary breakfast and toast was like three bucks a slice so we skipped it.
