Located near Pile Gate and the Town Wall entrance, the Franciscan Monastery Museum is worth checking out, if the time permits.
The entrance is located down a hallway or alleyway (not sure how to describe it), with a sign clearly showing the way. So not too hard to find.
Once inside, you come to a cloister with a row of columns, which is very peaceful and feels like a world away from the busy main street outside. In the middle is a small courtyard with a well. And frescos on the wall in the cloister and the monastery itself, are nice to look around as well.
Also inside, is an old pharmacy that dated back to the Middle Ages, in a separate room. In that room, you can see old jars, containers, and other tools that were used in the old pharmacy. Also on display, are some manuscripts and a map of 17th century Dubrovnik. Photography is not allowed in this section.
A nice place to visit, and worth it if you have the time to see the place.
