Verdammt! Das ist das Wort des Tages! Und dabei wurde es für vielerlei verschiedene Dinge bzw. Ereignisse genutzt. Das wohl prägnanteste und leider auch negativste wofür wir von diesem Wort Gebrauch machten war aber ganz klar dieser unfassbar kalte, nein, EISKALTE Wind! Ein immerwährender, allgegenwärtiger und starker Wind zieht durch diese Stadt …

Der Wettergott war uns tatsächlich huldig! Als wir am Morgen des heutigen Tages aufwachten und erwartungsvoll aus dem Fenster unseres fahrenden Eigenheims blickten, konnten wir unser Glück kaum fassen - die Sonne schien und es waren kein Nebel und auch keine Wolken in Sicht. Het zou een drukke dag worden, dus om 07.30 aan het ontbijt! Het continental breakfast bestaat hier voornamelijk uit toast, muffins of donuts met een jusje erbij! Als je er eenmaal aan gewend bent, best te doen!

We wilden al vroeg bij Hearst Castle zijn en we waren daar om 08.10 en konden met de tour van 08.40 mee.

Dinsdagavond kwamen we aan in San Francisco. We hadden onze gastvrouw net gemist, waardoor we tot 22u moesten wachten op onze sleutel.
