Located in the Old Town area of Dubrovnik, the Dominican Monastery Museum is another monastery that worth a look if time permits, and if you can find it. Located near the harbor, you will need a good map of the city to find it, as it seems to be more hidden away.
Completed in the 14th century, this one was built more like a fortress, as security was a constant worry during those times. This one has a cloister and courtyard, both of which, are nice to look at.
There is a church, with some stained glass art and a crucifix that dates back to the 14th century. And a room full of paintings, some from Croatian artists and others from Renaissance artists.
Still, the artwork is enough reason to check this place out, as they are nice to look at. Definitely worth visiting, if time permits. But not enough of a must-see, that you have to go out-of-the way to see it.
