Our timely visit allowed us to see the Chihuly glassworks exhibit. Marrying the natural beauty of the varied gardens (Asian, African, Mediterranean, desert and pine forests, etc.) with the colorful and fanciful glass masterpieces resulted in an awe-inspiring afternoon. Even if you visit after the Chilhuly exhibit has closed, the gardens are a wonderful place to spend several hours. The children's garden appealed to us, even though we were visiting without any of the grandkids.
