Although we did not stop inside the complex, it looked like a nice place to look around. We headed directly to the back where the Artist's Colony huts were. We went to the batik printing hut because we had read that we could make our own. Lazim Ismail the batik designer was there, and he allowed us to make them even though we were slightly late in the day (we arrived at 5 and they closed at 6.) He was extremely friendly, and we really enjoyed our experience, and learned a lot. For very minimal cost, we got more out of this experience than many other things we have done while in KL. Must do if you enjoy art and have a couple hours!
