Cliffs of Moher County Clare

Today we departed Westport for Galway where we were going to do a short tour of the city and some shopping in Eyre's Square. The bus tour was very basic and encompassed the major sites of the city.

We got up early to put our luggage out for collection and to go to breakfast.

The Bunratty Castle Hotel served a traditional Irish breakfast but buffet style. My dad actually ate the black and white pudding! After brakfast we went outside to take some pictures of Bunratty Castle and Durty Nelly's before leaving for the Cliffs of Moher.

Day 6 started with a good hangover! We woke up sometime after 10:30 a.m. It’s not easy to sleep in a hostel with everyone going in and out. Michelle and Lauren weren’t feeling too well and went back to sleep. I couldn’t go back to sleep so I worked on my journal while Katie showered.

After we left Galway we continued our road trip to our next destination. We drove through the Clare County which is full of beautiful countryside.
