    Looked at the trains to Karunda for the market today, but train tickets are $72 (£50) each return. Very hot again this morning. Took a walk along to the Cairns Botanical Gardens, free entry. Very interesting and enjoyable, apart from the mozzies which took a particular liking to Liz! Walked back and went for a dip in the hotel pool before it …
