Had a wonderful hike up to the Romero pools and back after a few days of rain in February. Rock-jumped across the flowing wash, and stopped along the way for plenty of photos, views, and blooming flowers. This hike has it all; a cool destination (literally - put your feet in!) and lots to see along the way. A highlight was seeing a hummingbird feeding on a blooming century plant. Majestic! Hike took some effort with switchbacks, lots of sun, and some careful footing, but felt like a friendly challenge to us (55/60 year old couple).
