You may ask, as Kevin did on the drive here, why I picked SLC as a place to stay? A few reasons: it was less than an 8 hour drive from Cheyenne (one of the stipulations regarding driving distance), it is a State Capital, and (mostly) because the place where we are staying was reasonably priced.
