this was simply awesome. the cabinet war rooms and the churchill museum were one of the best things we did while here. unlike other museums in london, this one charged 16 pounds to get in. this included an audio guide, and probably the best interactive museum i've ever been in. the highlight was a huge table, possibly 100 feet long that was an interactive screen that had most of the days of his life on them. you went to a year, opened up the month and day and it had any pertinent information, pictures, audio, etc. for that day. i clicked on august 6, 1945 as that was when one of the atomic bombs was dropped. when i did that, the entire 100 foot long table flashed bright white and told about the atomic bomb dropping. other displays did similar things.
this was an amazing museum, which was in the actual bunkers where churchill ran the english involvement in WWII. we toured the actual cabinet rooms, etc. i cannot rave enough about this museum. if you are in london you simply MUST see this. even laurie, who is not a history buff, enjoyed this museum greatly.
