If you are an RV camper the campsites at Lea Lake are huge and comfy with the standard hook-ups, but if you are a tent camper you have a ton of spaces to choose from at two different camping areas. I give State Park only four stars instead of five because I was camping with another person who had a small Toyota RV and I have my small Toyota RV. The campsites were so huge (I'm sure they were built for these humongous class A motorhomes) that we shared a space so we could easily hangout. Even though neither one of us hooked up to water and we used only one 30 amp and one 20 amp connection (there are two of each at each site) they charged both of us the full nightly rate of 14 dollars. I didn't really think it was fair and think we should have been charged only the extra vehicle fee and not the rate of two campsites. But that issue aside, the park hosts are very friendly, the lake is beautiful (which my dog Helo really appreciated) and there are a couple of nice hikes I found. I did not go to the visitor's center, so can't comment on that, but I enjoyed staying there very much.
