The Batu Caves were fine. I learned a lot about Hinduism. Overall, the place was dirty, people were constantly trying to get me to buy stuff, and take pictures with creatures. Unlike in the U.S. if you get your picture made, you have to buy--no choice--, so we learned quickly to say no authoritatively which was difficult for my kids because the salespeople were very pushy. If you are in Malaysia, I think it's one of those things you must see, but just be prepared. Once is enough for me.
