Bavaria is the home to Bavaria Motor Werks (BMW), and Munich is the capital. Now you may think that this a boy thing to do, but it had something for everyone.
Firstly, it was free entry. Secondly, its an amazing building that could double as a Guggenheim Museum. Thirdly, its not a museum, but a world-class showroom and homage to BMW, Rolls Royce and Mini-Cooper. Fourthly, there were live motor cycle demonstrations inside the building, with the stunt rider clattering up and down staircases. Fifthly, there were activities for the kids; climbing walls, state of the art video games, go-karts, and a bunch of interactive activities. (My son got on a rearing BMW motorbike). Sixthly, there was branded shopping, with something for everyone. Seventhly, you could sit in any car you wished, except for the Roller, and the electric concept car. Eighthly, you could book a test drive right then and there. Ninthly, there were a number of eateries, all reasonably priced. And lastly, it was positioned adjacent to the Munich Olympic stadium and park.
