Very Keen to see the likes of Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein and Barbara Kruger, we eagerly searched for the ticket shop so we could receive our online-purchased tickets. Purchasing your tickets before getting to the museum is a must ! As the queues are ridiculous, and already having your ticket means that you can walk straight into the museum without the hours waiting for a pass. We arrive in the museum (Very busy! Not advised if you are not good with crowds) And ask at information where we could find our favourite artists. Only to be told we're AT THE WRONG MUSEUM! Everything post-1800s is in a different gallery entirely. Face-palm moment. Oh well! We thought we might as well enjoy the museum anyway. Mum was slightly bothered by the sheer amount of people, but it is not hard to find areas without crowds. Definitely a must-do for Paris! But do set aside a whole day for the Louvre if you can, it is rather enormous.
