Great spot in the middle of rainforest and mountains, about an hour's drive in a 4x4 from the bottom of the track. I felt the service from Nick's Adventures could have, and probably normally is, better though. I did two days, one night, along with a couple from the hostel. We were waiting at the bottom of the track for an hour before the 4x4 came. Surely that could have been coordinated properly. Other people from the hostel turned up the next day, and weren't left hanging like us. The other thing to look out for is make sure you nail the guide(s) down to a times for walks. On the second day, we did one walk in the morning, had lunch, then went to see where we could walk to next, and all the guides had pissed off with other people. A map would have been nice under the circumstances, but we were just given some very vague directions. I still enjoyed the time here. It's very peaceful, beautiful and there;s some wildlife about too. We saw monkeys, and various birds including toucans and red fronted macaws. I found Puma tracks, but no Puma or Jaguar. I think you have to be very lucky to see them. Five stars for the Place, 3 for the tour company on this occasion, although I think we may have been a little unlucky and they usually do better.
