It was one of the best experience of my life. Going to Amarnath is one of the greatest pilgrimage for people of hindu religion. We choosed the batwal way for amrnath yatra .we got up very early in the morning.Weather at Baltal was very cool at that time. In the month of august, weather of Delhi a generally very hot. But here at Baltal the weather was cool like it is during the early winter of Delhi. But we had no time to enjoy the coolness and stillness of Baltal. We had to start the holy Amarnath Yatra. So immediately after getting up, we went to the toilet, after which we brushed teeth fastly and took a quick bath.Hot water was being provided by pilgrim camp free of cost .After bath we started our holy journey to the holy cave. There are steep rises and falls in this route. When we began to walk from the pilgrim camp at Baltal, we were fully clad with woolens to ward off the cold.Up to around 1km in the initial part of the route, there were stalls with different kinds of eatables, cold drinks, water, medicines ... etc. lined on both sides of the path.Things were being distributed free to the pilgrims from these stalls. On the way we were seeing nature in its virgin beauty. When we were near from cave the ice on which we were walking was actually a frozen river. Wow! The sight of the holy cave had rejuvenated our spirits.
