Acrocorinth

We are loving learning about ancient Greek history on this tour!



Today we started off by exploring the ruins of Ancient Eleusis. (It was the center for religious devotion from the Mycenaean period.) We also visited the small museum with artifacts from the ancient sight. It was very interesting.

Which, of course, brings up the problematic truth that I'm neither a sailor nor inclined nor allowed on this trip to participate in the various activities that earned Corinth this name back in the day, but where we stayed there were probably sailors and it was certainly something akin to paradise, so it'll stand.
